In 2024 I began publishing small books full of recent flash and sending them out in the mail to clients. It takes considerably longer than chucking it on instagram, but the entire process of drawing, collating, formatting, assembling and posting the zines is very fun and rewarding. Although postage is too expensive to warrant sending them internationally, I have uploaded some pdfs of back issues if you would like to print them out yourself.
~Why you should care about physical media~
It's no secret that social media is dead or dying and reaching clients through means that have been free and successful over the past decade are now producing diminishing returns. The average time a person interacts with a post on the internet is less than 2 seconds. Your artwork is worth more than a 2 second glance! Analog publications are collectable, enjoyable to browse and a useful tool to assist word of mouth referrals.

I love collecting zines and I would love more tattoo related ones (I have a small handful so far). Please let me know if you have any and I will buy them off you :)

~How to assemble zines~
Print out pdfs on a photocopier or printer (flip on the long side). For bonus vintage aesthetic points, use a parchment coloured or tinted paper. Using a big stapler, staple the centre of the pages together. Fold the zine in half and chop off the excess paper to make the zine edge uniform.
